Welcome to Ultimate guide to IGCSE - Math (0580). This course is an absolute monster. I don't even know how to count the number of hours it took to put it together. That's comforting knowing that about your Math teacher right?
But seriously, it took me a really long time. I basically looked at the syllabus for IGCSE Math (0580) and made a lecture for every single topic that is covered. I scoured the internet but I couldn't find one course that had it all, so I'm hoping to bridge that gap for you guys doing the IGCSE this year or in the coming years by providing you everything in the one spot.
The high-level topics that are covered are:
1. Number
2. Algebra
3. Geometry
4. Mensuration
5. Co-ordinate geometry
6. Trigonometry
7. Matrices and Transformations
8. Statistics and Probability
If you're someone who has a couple of years till you start IGCSE, then I suggest you have a look at my Learn basic high school Math course to kick things off. I'll take you through all the basics you need to be really good at.
Something missing in the course?
If you find I haven't covered a topic that you need at this level, let me know in the discussions and I'll be happy to add it in :). Also if you have specific questions that you're having trouble solving, then I'll be happy to put up some videos explaining those too.
Thanks so much for being here folks. If you knew me personally (and I hope that we do get to meet one day), you'd know how humbling I find this adventure with you. See you on the inside :)
One thing I never understood was why every bio page is written in the third person. It's really creepy if you ask me.
Anyways so my name is Adi and I like to do a bunch of things. If I'm not hitting the gym once a month, you'll see me hiking once every 3 years, so you can say that I'm a pretty active guy. In my downtime, I play with my gorgeous niece, complain about my corporate job, hum Adele songs to myself and watch a new movie every Sunday (yep quite literally).
And I daydream a lot. I'm often found staring out the window at work thinking about the next course...probably explains the lack of promotions...ever.
But what I love is teaching. It's what gets me up in the morning. The thought of bringing some kind of value to your life is absolutely priceless to me. I can't wait for us to be doing amazing things together!
