Welcome to Ultimate guide to Trigonometry. This course will have all the different topics covered between Grade 7 and 10, therefore will be a comprehensive guide. The topics are in a sequential order, gradually going up in difficulty, so you can work your way through them at your own pace depending on what you're doing at school.
Did you know that Trigonometry was first used for Astronomy? You know to be honest I have no idea if that's true but I did hear that somewhere, so I really hope I'm right. Whether it was used for astronomy or zoology, it is still a challenge for students all the time. Understanding how the different formulas apply is a real pain for a lot of students, which is where I'm hoping this course will help.
What will this course have and who will benefit?
This course is going to cover all the concepts that will be covered in school from basic trigonometry topics such as Pythagoras' Theorem through to more advanced topics such as Angles of Elevation and Depression. During my time as a tutor, I've seen students really struggle to grasp the different elements of this topic, so this course can serve as a permanent reference point for you guys going forward.
A lot of my students are actually parents who are home schooling their kids, so if you're someone looking to brush up on your knowledge to help your kids at home, I know this course along with all my other courses will be a big help.
I go through every single topic in a step by step form so it's really easy for you to follow along. Not convinced? Then I suggest you check out the previews before you decide to enroll, to make sure my teaching style is easy to follow, I am very confident that it is.
What topics will the course cover?
I'll cover the following topics in the course:
Non right-angled triangles:
Something missing in the course?
If you find I haven't covered a topic that you need at this level, let me know in the discussions and I'll be happy to add it in :). Also if you have specific questions that you're having trouble solving, then I'll be happy to put up some videos explaining those too (really hope that I know how to solve them).
Thanks so much for being here folks. If you knew me personally (and I hope that we do get to meet one day), you'd know how humbling I find this adventure with you. See you on the inside :)
One thing I never understood was why every bio page is written in the third person. It's really creepy if you ask me.
Anyways so my name is Adi and I like to do a bunch of things. If I'm not hitting the gym once a month, you'll see me hiking once every 3 years, so you can say that I'm a pretty active guy. In my downtime, I play with my gorgeous niece, complain about my corporate job, hum Adele songs to myself and watch a new movie every Sunday (yep quite literally).
And I daydream a lot. I'm often found staring out the window at work thinking about the next course...probably explains the lack of promotions...ever.
But what I love is teaching. It's what gets me up in the morning. The thought of bringing some kind of value to your life is absolutely priceless to me. I can't wait for us to be doing amazing things together!
